I' benedico il loco e 'l tempo et l'ora

Your Honour the little good wizard-magician / Meritíssimo, o pequeno mago-bruxo / Su Señoría mago y brujito bueno,

I am so bad at writing, my admired special person, that I will make use of letters I wrote for a girl I loved very much several years before meeeting You.

Among the beautiful texts I compiled for her (I copy others' writings because I lack imagination and any artistic talents), there is this one*:

"I' benedico il loco e 'l tempo et l'ora       [I bless the place, the time and hour of the day
che sì alto miraron gli occhi mei,             that my eyes aimed their sights at such a height,
et dico: Anima, assai ringraziar dei          and say: 'My soul, you must be very grateful
che fosti a tanto onor degnata allora."      that you were found worthy of such great honour.]

Your devote admirer,

admirador rendido ante su Señoría

(we could also say admirardor rendido :-) )
